Hospitality Internship Crete – Reception 4-star hotel

Would you like to gain work experience abroad in the hotel and tourism industry? Our partner hotel on Crete currently has vacancies for internships abroad at the reception. During your hotel internship you will learn a lot about the procedures of a hotel and gain a broad insight into the reception department. The hotel accommodates international guests with whom you will be in contact throughout your hospitality internship. You will improve your communication skills as well as your English skills. There are also internships currently available in the Public Relations and Restaurant & Bars departments.

The 4 star hotel is located in a very good location on the coast of Crete. Restaurants, bars and shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel also offers its interns free accommodation, 3 meals a day and a monthly fee of 400€. In your free time, Crete offers countless activities. For example, you can get to know the history of Crete in museums, go diving and much more.

• You work in a 4-star hotel in the reception department
• Your working time is 40 hours a week and you have 2 days off a week
• Duration of internship: at least 2 months
• Start of internship: immediately or later

• Welcome and check-in of arriving guests during your hospitality internship
• Informing the guests about the services of the hotel
• International correspondence
• Complaint management and incoming call acceptance
• Assistance with reservations, invoicing and check-out

• Pupil, student, trainee in the field of tourism, hotel management, foreign languages, communication, business administration or similar
• Open-minded, self-confident, communicative
• Friendly charisma in dealing with international guests
• Knowledge of English is a prerequisite, other foreign languages are an advantage

• Free accommodation
• 3 meals per day in the hotel
• Monthly remuneration of 400€
