Internship in Sports in a 4-star hotel on Lanzarote

Would you like to do an internship in sports abroad and at the same time gain work experience in the hotel and tourism industry?
Our partner hotel on Lanzarote is currently looking for an intern in the sports department. During your internship you will be responsible for the sports entertainment of the hotel guests. The hotel accommodates international guests with whom you will be in contact throughout your internship. You will improve your communication skills as well as your language skills. Our partner hotel offers activities such as tennis, football, volleyball, water gymnastics, Zumba and many more. You organize sports tournaments, act as a trainer at various sports courses and accompany the activities offered by the hotel.

The 4 star hotel of your sports internship is located at a wide sandy beach on Lanzarote. As it is a sports hotel, the hotel has sports fields, a large fitness studio, a golf course and several pools. In addition, the beach offers various leisure activities such as diving, surfing or beach volleyball, so you can also spend your leisure time doing sports. The hotel offers its interns free accommodation, 3 meals a day and a monthly remuneration.

• You work in a 4 star hotel in the sports department
• Your working time is 40 hours a week, you have two days off a week
• Duration of internship: at least 2 months
• Start of internship: immediately or later

• Support of the sports management team during your internship in sports
• You inform the guests about the sports offer of the hotel and work with the booking system
• Support of international guests in the fields of communication and sports
• Planning of sports activities and preparation of sports programmes
• Support in the organization of larger events, such as golf tournaments
• Organization and implementation of smaller tournaments in football, beach volleyball, handball, hockey, etc.

• Pupil, student, trainee in tourism, hotel management, sports, foreign languages, communication, social sciences, business administration or similar
• Helpful, self-confident, communicative and sporty
• Friendly charisma; pleasure in dealing with international guests
• Knowledge of English is a prerequisite, other foreign languages are an advantage

• Free accommodation
• 3 meals a day in the hotel
• 250€ monthly compensation
